Trainor, who co-wrote the feminist anthem with Jacob Kashner, claims in a new interview that J.Lo had no idea who was behind the song when she agreed to record it.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Trainor wants everyone to stop criticizing Jennifer Lopez for having Dr. Luke contribute to her latest single, "Ain't Your Mama". The 22-year-old singer, who co-wrote the tune with Jacob Kashner, defended her collaborator in an interview with Digital Spy, saying J.Lo was unaware of the producer's involvement when she agreed to record the song.

"I texted her the song and she had no idea - she thought I did it alone by myself at my house, which a lot of people think because I do do that," said Trainor. "I sent it to her and said, 'Do you like the song?' and she said, 'I love the song, my kid loves the song - he's made me play it five times already so I know it's a hit. When can I cut it?', so I said immediately, 'Whenever you want!' "

Of the backlash directed at J.Lo, she added, "I felt terrible when Jennifer got all the hate for ['Ain't Your Mama'], and it's just all ridiculous. It's such a big song for her. [It was] not fair on her, not at all."

J.Lo's latest single was released last week, around the same time she performed it live for the first time during the very last episode of "American Idol". A lot of fans said they wouldn't support the song and encouraged others to do the same after they found out that Luke, who's been accused of sexually abusing Kesha (formerly Ke$ha), was behind it.

Trainor apparently wrote the track with Luke long before Kesha sued her former collaborator. However, the "All About that Bass" hitmaker probably linked up with Luke because her label told her to do so. She's signed to Epic Records while Luke leads Kemosabe Records. Both companies are owned by Sony.
