The 43-year-old actress also said that she and the Coldplay frontman remained on good terms as he was very supportive and always helped her 'co-create this new family.'

AceShowbiz - Gwyneth Paltrow has once again talked about her relationship with her ex Chris Martin, two years after the pair "consciously uncoupled." In an interview with Marie Claire Australia, the "Iron Man" actress admitted that she and the Coldplay frontman were better off as friends than a couple.

"I think we are better as friends than we were [married]. We are very close and supportive of one another," Gwyneth said. The actress and the British singer, who shared daughter Apple and son Moses, remained on good terms and they still enjoyed dinners and holidays together.

Though Gwyneth hinted that it's a bit impossible to rekindle her romance with Chris, the "Mortdecai" star was grateful because her ex always tried to be by their children's side when they needed him. "It hasn't always been easy for us because you have good days and bad days as you do in life with anything, but I feel lucky because Chris has been willing to push himself for the sake of the kids and help me co-create this new family," she shared. "It's like we are still a family, but not a couple."

When asked about the possibility of getting remarried in the future, the actress said, "I think marriage is a really beautiful and noble institution, but it is not like I am holding a goal of getting remarried."

The mother of two is now dating TV producer Brad Falchuk, but she seemingly wanted to keep her relationship low-key. "I don't want to say too much, but I will say you just never know what is going to happen, what people you are going to meet, what amazing lessons you are going to learn," Gwyneth said of her romance with the 45-year-old producer.
