Director and writer Rian Johnson shares on Tumblr a photo of someone, presumably the Oscar-winning actress, wearing a motion capture suit on the motion capture set.

AceShowbiz - You haven't seen the last of Maz Kanata in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". In this behind-the-scenes photo, the character played by Lupita Nyong'o seems to have survived the First Order attack on her castle and will be back for the follow-up movie, "Star Wars Episode VIII".

The black-and-white photo was shared on Monday, April 4 by the upcoming flick's director and writer Rian Johnson. Apparently taken on the motion capture set, it shows someone who's presumably Nyong'o standing in the middle of a stage wearing a motion capture suit. Her alien character is seen in two screens set up around her.
