Aldean won the Entertainer of the Year Award, the show's biggest prize, while Stapleton dominates the winner list with multiple awards including Male Vocalist of the Year.

AceShowbiz - The complete winner list of the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards was unveiled after the ceremony wrapped up on Sunday night, April 3. Jason Aldean and Chris Stapleton came out as the biggest winners of the annual show, which this year aired live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Aldean was honored with the Entertainer of the Year title, the biggest prize that night, after defeating fellow nominees including Eric Church, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert. Receiving his trophy from Tom Hiddleston, he said of his unexpected win, "I was just starting to think this one wasn't in the cards for me. This is one of the best nights of my professional career."
Stapleton, who was the biggest nominee with seven nods, walked away with many of them. During the ceremony, he nabbed Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for "Traveller" and Song of the Year for "Nobody to Blame". Prior to the telecast, he'd won the New Male Vocalist of the Year Award.
Little Big Town and Florida Georgia Line are among other artists making up the winner list. The quartet bagged two awards including Vocal Group of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for "Smokin' and Drinkin' ". FGL, meanwhile, was named Vocal Duo of the Year. Though they lost the coveted Entertainment of the Year prize to Aldean, Lambert and Church didn't go home empty handed. The former won the Female Vocalist of the Year Award for the seventh time and the latter grabbed the Video of the Year trophy for "Mr. Misunderstood".
The 2016 ACM Awards aired live on CBS with Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan as co-hosts. The event also included performances from a bunch of big names in country music as well as some pop superstars like Katy Perry and Nick Jonas.
