The R'n'B singer and the rapper trade verse about recognizing true love on the track, which will appear on the latter's upcoming debut album.

AceShowbiz - Skizzy Mars links up with JoJo for his new single, "Recognize". The young rapper dropped on Friday, April 1 the hip-hop/pop tune which will be featured on his upcoming debut album, "Alone Together".

Produced by Michael Keenan and P-Lo Read, the track finds JoJo trying to tell her man that she's seriously in love with him and hoping he will "recognize a real one when you see one." Meanwhile, Mars delivers raunchy bars about having sex with his girl and staying up for "three straight nights talkin' 'bout s**t that's abstract."

Mars' "Alone Together" is due out on April 8 via Atlantic Records to follow up his debut EP, 2015's "The Red Balloon Project". Also getting ready to release an album is his collaborator JoJo, who's already so close to finishing her first LP in 10 years.

In a tweet she posted recently, she said that she was crying while writing the last song on the record. "Trying to sing through it. The feels. The fears. The tears," she said. Currently, no exact release date has been set for the follow-up to 2006's "The High Road".
