AceShowbiz - What Olivia's kidnapping has to do with the next twist on "Scandal"? A preview for an upcoming episode includes a flashback to the time when Olivia was taken against her will in season 2 and the narrator says, "Olivia Pope will shock the world." In a scene seemingly set in present day, Olivia angrily threatens someone unseen.
The official synopsis reads, "The election is in full swing, which means everyone is doing their best to take down their opponents, but when a potential leak threatens several candidates, they have to work together to keep their secrets safe. Boundaries are pushed and lines are crossed as we find out just how far some people are willing to go to protect themselves."
"Thwack!" airs Thursday, April 7 at 9/8c on ABC. Star Tony Goldwyn directed the episode. His co-star Scott Foley directed the latest outing, "The Miseducation of Susan Ross".
