The 'You Don't Know What to Do' singer will skip the Belgium concert on Sunday and proceed to Denmark on Tuesday.

AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey has come to a decision to cancel her concert in Brussels for the safety of herself, her fans and everyone. Her "Sweet Sweet Fantasy" European Tour will not visit the Forest National arena on Sunday, March 27 due to recent terrorism act in the Belgium capital.

"I love my fans in Brussels and at this time I am being advised to cancel my show for the safety of my fans, my band, crew and everyone involved with the tour," she wrote on Twitter Friday. "I hope to see you soon and send my prayers and eternal love, laughter and light to my Lambs."

Her announcement was not accompanied by details about how fans can reimburse their tickets. She also did not mention about a reschedule. The singer will proceed to perform on stage in Denmark on Tuesday.

The Brussels concert was supposed to be a special one because she happens to celebrate her 46th birthday on that day. She reportedly has been advised by her security team not to go on with the scheduled concert because the venue could be a target.

The March 22 attack occurred at both Brussel's international airport and metro station. At least 34 people died in the incident and hundreds were hurt. Carey's team is afraid that the airport is closed down and the crew will not be able to enter the country.
