'Deepwater Horizon' Teaser Trailer Sees Mark Wahlberg Trapped in Oil Rig Explosion

Get a sneak peek at the massive explosion at the BP oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico which is followed with a giant fountain of mud and fireballs.

AceShowbiz - The first teaser trailer for the true-story drama of BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, "Deepwater Horizon", has arrived for viewing pleasure. It shows Mark Walhberg as a BP employer Mike Williams and Kate Hudson as his wife. Kurt Russell, John Malkovich, Gina Rodriguez and Dylan O'Brien also join the cast.

The trailer gives a sneak peek at Mike at work and at home. His young daughter is seen practicing a class presentation about what her dad's job. She explains the oil drilling using a can of coke and a straw. As the can explodes after being stabbed and panic ensues on the kitchen table, the video flashes a huge fountain of mud that leads to a catastrophe disaster at the BP oil rig.

The feature film is directed by Peter Berg and scripted by Matthew Michael Carnahan based on a New York Times article. Lionsgate is rolling out the pic in the United States theater on September 30.
