'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' moves forward with the screening but skips red carpet press line in the aftermath of terrorist attacks in Belgium.

AceShowbiz - There will be no red carpet press line for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" at the London premiere as Europe is on high alert in the wake of Brussels terrors on Tuesday, March 22. Despite the interview cancellation, the movie's screening still goes as planned.

"Our hearts go out to the victims of recent terrorist attacks, their families and the communities impacted around the world. Rather than yield to terror, we've decided to join the film's fans and move forward with the London premiere of 'Batman v. Superman' this evening," Warner Brothers announces in a statement.

Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill are expected to attend the event at Odeon Leicester Square along with director Zack Snyder. The trio has also visited Mexico City and dropped by New York to screen the DC superhero movie.

Dozens of people were killed and more than 100 were injured after the twin bombings at the Brussels airport and at a metro station. According to Variety, WB is "still grappling with how to coordinate the European debut of the film in the aftermath of the bombings in the capital of Belgium."

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens around the globe this weekend. It begins playing in Europe on Wednesday, including France and Belgium. Following the terrorist attacks, many cinemas in Brussels were shut down.
