The 'Rum Diary' actress confirms her joining DC Cinematic Universe and teases her costume in the upcoming superhero movie.

AceShowbiz - Amber Heard officially joins the expanding DC Cinematic Universe. "The Danish Girl" star confirmed to Entertainment Tonight Canada that she has been cast as Mera, the love interest to Jason Momoa's Aquaman.
The blonde beauty also dished on her costume in the upcoming comic book adaptation. "It's interesting. It's like, half suit of armor, half scales," so the actress teased. "It's strange ... We're in the process of building it now, so it's coming along."
Heard's Mera is expected to be introduced in "Justice League Part One" first before getting a bigger screen time in "Aquaman". The first Justice League flick is slated for on November 17, 2017 in the U.S. while the King of the Seven Seas movie is planned for July 27, 2018.
