Gwen Stefani cheers on her boyfriend on Twitter as he gets drenched while hosting the Nickelodeon awards in Los Angeles.
Blake Shelton, John Stamos, and Fifth Harmony went green at the Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday, March 12. The country music crooner, the actor and the girl group were covered with the famous gooey liquid on stage at The Forum, Los Angeles.
Shelton got slimed at the end of the night. Earlier on the show, someone dumped a big bucket of green goo on Stamos when the "Fuller House" star was on his seat in the audience. Meanwhile, Fifth Harmony was drenched on stage while accepting Favorite Music Group title.
The annual event was hosted by Shelton. He opened it with a hilarious sketch featuring "The Voice" co-judges Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and actress Selena Gomez. Chewbacca, BB-8 and Storm Troopers made appearances as well.
Gwen Stefani was in Japan but she sent her sons to the awards show. Her little boys were joined by Pharrell's son. She had a bit of a meltdown for not being able to stream the show. As soon as the problem was solved, she cheered on her boyfriend on Twitter.
Shelton himself, before taking the KCA stage, gave a shout-out to his girlfriend in a promo video. "Look here. There's No Doubt!" he said as he stood in front of wall of canvas. He cheekily added, "I like those - those guys a lot! One of them, a lot."
