'Clash of Clans' commercial director is tapped to sit behind the lens for the upcoming animated version of Sony's ghost-hunting heroes.

AceShowbiz - A director has been hired for the untitled Ghostbusters animated film, The Hollywood Reporter learns. Fletcher Moules, the mastermind behind the popular animated Clash of Clans commercial spots, is attached to helm the project.
Sony has been working on to expand the Ghostbusters universe with an all-female team starring Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig and Leslie Jones. Directed by paul Feig, it's due in the United States on July 15.
Another potential remake is also in development with Joe and Anthony Russo linked as directors and Channing Tatum as the lead star. In the meantime, the Russo brothers are still busy with Marvel films. They will helm "Avengers: Infinity War Part I" and "Avengers: Infinity War Part II" after finishing "Captain America: Civil War".
