'I think all good things much come to an end,' says the Aria depicter, adding that she wants the show to end 'tragically.'

AceShowbiz - There's only one season left before "Pretty Little Liars" wraps its story, according to Lucy Hale. The actress who plays Aria Montgomery has once again confirmed that the popular teen drama series will end after seven seasons.

Visiting "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on Thursday, February 25, she was pressed by host James Corden to answer the question, "Is this true, that next season might be the last?" Hale responded, "It is ending."

A freaked out Corden asked again, "It's really ending?!" She replied, "Well, we've been doing it for six years. I've literally spent my 20s on the show, and I think all good things much come to an end. Who knows what could happen?"

The British comedian then asked Hale how she wanted the show to end. "I used to say I wanted the show to end walking away in the sunset, they're all happy living an A-free life, no drama, right? But I don't. I want it to end really tragically," she shared. Corden responded, "Whichever way it ends is a tragedy. And you know that."

Series creator Marlene King had said that she wanted the show to end with season 7. "I think that this story when we're back will end next year at the at end of season 7," she told Variety in late last year.

"Pretty Little Liars" is currently in its season 6 which airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Freeform.
