According to 'Star Wars' director J.J. Abrams, Daisy 'had the most beautiful voice I ever heard.'

AceShowbiz - Daisy Ridley may have wanted a singing career. Director J.J. Abrams said at the U.S.-Ireland Alliance's Oscar Wilde Awards, where Daisy was among this year's honorees, that the 23-year-old actress is recording a song with a "massive superstar."

"One day on set, she just started singing and had the most beautiful voice I ever heard," the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" director shared, "On Saturday, this weekend, she is going to record a song with an unnamed person, but let's just say a massive superstar."

"The other day she looked at me and said in the sweetest Daisy-est way, 'What is my life?' " Abrams continued, "Daisy's life is a bit like Rey's-she's on a crazy adventure and it's just beginning."

Daisy later thanked Abrams, "I can never thank you enough for your faith, your patience, your kindness and your guidance throughout this crazy incredible thing."

Other honorees at the Thursday, February 25 event which took place at Abrams' Bad Robot offices in Santa Monica, included James Corden, director Lenny Abrahamson and Sarah Greene.

Ridley showed off her voice when she and her "Star Wars" co-star Oscar Isaac performed a duet of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" while promoting their movie during a Twitter chat back in December.
