Bowie's wife of 24 years Iman broke her silence on social media on Saturday, February 6, posting a message which read, 'Love and Gratitude, Iman.'

AceShowbiz - David Bowie's wife of 24 years, Iman, has broken her silence on social media following the superstar's death. The 60-year-old widow posted an image on Instagram which read, " 'Love & Gratitude,' Iman."

The model also shared the image on her official Twitter account and it has since been re-tweeted nearly 400 times and garnering likes over 1,000. On Sunday, she posted another quote which read, "Pray hardest when it is hardest to pray."

Iman had made no public comment about the passing, but she posted a series of messages in the days after Bowie's death. She shared on Twitter an image saying, "The struggle is real, but so is God." There was also another image with the words, "Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory," written on it.

Bowie passed away back on January 10 after battling cancer for a year and a half. His death came just two days after his 69th birthday and the release of his album "Blackstar". The upsetting news was announced via Facebook. Thousands of fans and fellow celebrities immediately paid tribute to the late singer after hearing the news.
