The newly-released clip features Negasonic Teenage Warhead showing off her superhero abilities as she faces off against Angel Dust.
20th Century Fox has unleashed a new clip for its highly-anticipated superhero movie "Deadpool". The clip is a longer version of a scene in previously-released trailers, where Brianna Hildebrand's Negasonic Teenage Warhead shows off her superpower to take down Gina Carano's Angel Dust.
While it's not clear why Ryan Reynolds' the Merc With a Mouth teams up with Colossus and Warhead, you can get some ideas about how powerful Warhead and Dust are. The one-minute clip starts with Deadpool, Warhead and Colossus walking side-by-side as they are about to see Dust's "superhero landing."
The red-suited superhero tells Dust that he brings Colossus and Warhead to help him, but Dust manages to defeat Colossus easily. Deadpool then asks Warhead to finish her tweet then fights against Dust, and this is where a girl fight begins.
Aside from the new clip, there's some good news for Deadpool fans. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new TV spot will be screened during the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 7. Besides, Reynolds will give fans other surprises as he will run a food truck and serve Deadpool's favorite food Chimicangas on Friday night, January 5.
Based on Marvel comic books, "Deadpool" focuses on the titular hero who is armed with his new abilities he gets after undergoing a rogue experiment to hunt down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Other names in the cast are Ed Skrein and T.J. Miller. Directed by Tim Miller, the movie is due to open in the U.S. on February 12.
