The stepchildren of Kim Howe reportedly have settled the lawsuit in the car crash case for a 'very modest amount.'

AceShowbiz - Caitlyn Jenner is freed from one more lawsuit in the multiple-car crash case last year. A wrongful death lawsuit brought by the stepchildren of Kim Howe, a widow killed in the auto accident, has been dismissed.

Jenner's attorney, Philip Boesch Jr., confirmed it on Thursday, January 28 but would not reveal any terms of settlement. The dismissal was requested on Tuesday by Dana Redmond and William Howe who launched the lawsuit in May claiming Jenner was "careless, negligent and/or otherwise responsible" for the crash in Malibu a month prior.

Redmond's lawyer Jeff Wolf was unable to comment on Thursday "because of a confidentiality agreement." But sources told TMZ that Redmond and Howe settled for a "very modest amount."

In the fatal Pacific Coast Highway accident, Jenner's car towed an off-road vehicle when she rear-ended a white Lexus, causing a chain-reaction wreck. The Lexus bounced off a Prius before veering into oncoming traffic and colliding head-on with a black Hummer. The Lexus driver, Kim Howe, died at the scene.

Jessica Steindorff, who drove the Prius, settled her lawsuit in December. Jenner is still facing a lawsuit by the family in the Hummer.
