The two coaches of 'The Voice' reportedly 'began writing together in the fall, shortly after going public with their romance.'

AceShowbiz - Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are taking their relationship to the recording booth, according to a recent In Touch report. The publication claimed that the couple wanted to "make sweet music together" and they'd even started working on a country album.

The tabloid said that the two singers "began writing together in the fall, shortly after going public with their romance." Of what the record would sound like, a source said, "It's going to be a country-inspired collaboration. The album will be a whole new outlook on music, mixing Blake's country voice and Gwen's pop expertise. It will be an amazing crossover record."

In Touch went on stating that Gwen's relationship with Shelton was not the only reason why she wanted to do the album. She allegedly hoped the project would help "increase her likability and sales... Plus, Gwen feels it'll make Blake's friends and family like her more."

However, you have to save your excitement for something else now because the joint record isn't going to happen. Gossip Cop has shot down the "untrue" story. A rep for Gwen told the site that no collaboration between the pair is even planned.
