The singer explains her 'psychotic' character and reveals what the stalker-themed video is actually about in a three-minute BTS clip.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez takes fans behind the scenes of her sexiest music video yet. A month after releasing the "Hands to Myself" visuals, the former Disney darling explains the stalker theme and gives clearer look at the hillside house used for the filming in a clip she released on Vevo Wednesday, January 20.

"It is probably top three, maybe No. 1 favorite on the album because it's one of those hidden gem kind of songs," Gomez says in the three-minute BTS video of the song from her "Revival" album. "It's very beautiful and special and it's got this funk to it that really created this whole sound that could knock me into the future of my music. So it's exciting to see it come to life."

She goes on praising director Alek Keshishian and revealing concept for the music video, which sees her playing two versions of the same girl with one of them being described as "a little psychotic."

"I wanted the idea of this video to be two different versions of being in this fantasy," she shares. "I think everyone can have those moments where they're dreaming of what their life could be, especially girls with love. Being obsessed with the idea, and you can't control yourself. That's what you want no matter what's happening."

"You get to see these images of what people think love is. It's theatrical, it's movie-like. And all of that you end up seeing ends up being a false reality on both ends. That's what I wanted it to feel like," she adds.
