AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj has shared behind-the-scenes look at her sitcom that will air on Freeform (previously known as ABC Family). The rapper recently visited the set of "Nicki" and took pictures with child actresses, including Ariana Neal who plays young Minaj.

She took to Instagram on Wednesday, January 20 to share the photos. "Can't wait to introduce u to my little babies. had so much fun with them today on set. #Nicki #ExecutiveProducer #Freeform #ABCFamily I'm gonna eat them," she captioned one of them. She also posed for a picture with director Tim Story.

"Nicki" is based on Nicki's life story when she was an aspiring rapper who moved from Trinidad to Queens in early 1990s. The scripted series also stars Selita Ebanks as Nicki's mom Grace, Wesley Jonathan as her father Vincent, and McCarrie McCausland as her older brother Jaylen. Whoopi Goldberg will make a guest appearance as Nicki's neighbor Miss Martha.

The new show is slated to premiere this year. Minaj is executive producing the series and will also make appearance in the half-hour comedy.
