AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's alleged rekindled romance has become a hot topic since they're spotted together during New Year holiday. Surprisingly, Liam's brother Chris Hemsworth admitted that he had no idea about the pair's relationship status.
In an interview with an Australian radio station on Tuesday, January 19, "The Avengers" actor remained tight-lipped on rumors claiming that his younger brother and the "We Can't Stop" hitmaker rekindled their romance. On "Kyle & Jackie O Show", Chris said, "Not that I know of mate. I would find out through the press. I find out last most of the time."
Shortly after Chris made the statement, a source close to Miley said that she "didn't take it personally." The source claimed that Miley wasn't surprised with Chris' comments and she apparently understood the situation. "She respects that now and doesn't take it personally. When she first started dating Liam she didn't like how private he and his family were," the source said. "It bothered her and she took it to mean that his family didn't like her, but now she's in a different place and she's more understanding of how important privacy is to them all."
Rumors about Miley and Liam's alleged reconciliation started to mount when the two were spotted locking lips at an Australian music festival during New Year holiday. The two reportedly renewed their engagement as Miley was spotted wearing a diamond ring which looked identical to her engagement ring from Liam. The 23-year-old singer was also rumored to move in with Liam since she was photographed unloading some boxes from a U-Haul truck in "The Hunger Games" actor's house in Malibu.
