AceShowbiz - As she puts the finishing touches on "Joyride", Tinashe previews the album with a brand new song called "Energy". Landing online on Tuesday, January 19, the slow-tempo track features guest verse from Juicy J and production from Mike WiLL Made It.
Tinashe shows off her sultry vocals as she sings, "Baby hit me like lightning/ Feel my body flowing into me/ Gotta feeling inside me/ Light me up, you give me energy." Juicy J joins her near the end of the song to brag about his classy girl. "She exercise, she eat yoghurt/ She read books and watch Oprah/ I let her ride me, I'm her chauffeur," he raps.
"Joyride" is scheduled to arrive sometime this year, though it has yet to have an exact release date. Tinashe has also enlisted Chris Brown, Young Thug, Max Martin, Metro Boomin, Nic Nac, Boi-1da and Dev Hynes for what will be her sophomore studio effort.
To support the follow-up to 2014's "Aquarius", Tinashe will embark on her "Joyride" world tour that opens with a string of North American dates beginning on February 28 until April 10.
