Without mentioning a specific TV series, DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns teases the Legion of Super-Heroes' possible appearance on the small screen.

AceShowbiz - Is the Legion of Super-Heroes the next DC Comics characters to get TV adaptation? Well, not really, but DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns said that one of DC's live-action shows might include a nod to the superhero team.

"You'll see a hint of the Legion on one of our shows," he told reporters at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena, as reported by TVLine. Without naming which show that would feature the Legion of Super-Heroes, he told fans to "keep watching."

Johns went on gushing, "I love the Legion. They're underused and hopefully we'll get them out there soon."

The Legion's members Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad were previously featured on the "Smallville" season 8's episode titled "Legion".

CBS' "Supergirl" is believed to be the show which will likely feature the team since she and her cousin Superman have a shared-future history with the group. Still, the time-traveling element on The CW's upcoming series "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" will also allow a visit from the Legion.
