The singer, who had to undergo an unspecified surgery, will begin her trek in May in Las Vegas and make up for the canceled dates in July.

AceShowbiz - An unforeseen circumstance has forced Janet Jackson to reschedule her "Unbreakable" World Tour. The singer is moving her canceled winter dates to this summer, starting July in Denver.

Jackson first canceled her shows in October to rest her vocal chords. Late December, she was forced to postpone her tour because she had to undergo a surgery. She did not go into further details about her surgery but denied that she had cancer.

"It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the 'Unbreakable' Tour until the spring. Every date will be rescheduled. Please hold on to your ticket. They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced," she said in the announcement.

The rescheduled dates will now begin July 1 at the Pepsi Center in Denver and end August 28 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. Tickets for the old dates are honored at the rescheduled shows.
