The 23-year-old singer seemingly has some problems moving on from ex-fiance Liam as an insider claims that 'she never really got over Liam.'

AceShowbiz - Though it's been years since Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth ended their 16-month engagement, the "Wrecking Ball" singer doesn't seem to have moved on from "The Hunger Games" actor. According Us Weekly's source, Miley still loves his ex-fiance and Liam may still have feelings for the 23-year-old singer too.
"She says she's always loved Liam and always will," an insider said of Miley. "She never really got over Liam." The insider also suggested that Liam might still have feelings for Miley too, claiming that the 26-year-old actor couldn't find anyone like the songtress. "He's never met anyone quite like her who has that hold on him," the source added.
The insider said that the pair's split was mainly because of Miley's changing image, but now Liam may be ready to accept Miley for who she really is. "He realizes she was growing up and experimenting, he took a step back and gave her time to do that," the insider dished before adding, "Miley's always had a special place in his heart."
The pair, who were spotted cozying up to each other while spending the New Year's Eve together in Australia, sparked reconciliation rumor by seeing each other more intensely. "They've been talking for a while, and now they're seeing each other again," the insider stated. "They are seeing where it goes before officially getting back together."
Earlier this month, another source said that the two were spotted kissing and hugging at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards, claiming that they were "in a passionate phase of reconnecting."
The pair enjoyed a five-year relationship before ending their brief engagement in 2013. Following the split, Miley dated Patrick Schwarzenegger until April 2014. She was also rumored to have a romantic relationship with Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell at one point.
