The Disney alum, who's grieving for her puppy, takes to Instagram to share a touching tribute to her adorable pet.

AceShowbiz - Hilary Duff is mourning the death of her dog Frenchie Beau. The "Agent Cody Banks" actress took to Instagram on Tuesday, January 12 to share an emotional tribute to her dog which died earlier in the day.

"It's really true that we never know what the day will bring us. I am shattered in a million pieces today because my baby Frenchie Beau has gone to doggy heaven this afternoon :(," Duff said in the post. "I'm sure I will post way too many pictures of him this week but as of now I can't even bear to look at a photo of his little face that melted me every time."

"I can't fathom never holding his every little head in my hands with his two big eyes looking at me again. Remember every day to be grateful for what we have that makes our hearts happy and full," the blonde beauty continued, before concluding, "My naughty boy I will miss you so. Heart. Broken."

Two weeks ago, Duff posted on the social media an adorable picture of Beau. The puppy appeared to be crawling on a couch, approaching Duff who took the picture. Alongside the snap, she wrote, "Bad beau bad beau whatcha gunna do whatcha gunna do...... Seriously he's a bad bully but he's sooooo cuuuute tho."
