As 'Deadpool' will be released in the U.S. two days prior to Valentine's Day, its new promotional pictures suggest that it is a romantic movie instead of a superhero movie.

AceShowbiz - Valentine's Day is just a month away and "Deadpool" has released new promotional pictures in honor of the day of romance. The action-comedy movie took to Twitter on Monday, January 11 to share a series of its hilariously misleading banners.
One picture shows Ryan Reynolds' character Wade Wilson laughing with his partner Vanessa Carlysle (Morena Baccarin). The romantic atmosphere appears in the picture as the background shows blurry lights and the words read, "True Love Never Dies." A caption for the picture reads, "This Valentine's Day, fall in love with #Deadpool."

Another picture sees Wade seemingly talking with Vanessa with the gray background. The caption reads, "This Valentine's Day, witness 50 Shades of Slay. #Deadpool." The last picture shows Wade giving jewelry to Vanessa. The two look into each other's eyes and the words in the picture read, "I Love You Wade Wilson." A caption for the picture reads, "A love for which is worth killing. #Deadpool."

On the same day, Ryan posted on his Twitter account a photo of his hands in Deadpool gloves recreating heart shape. In the center of the heart shape, an outdoor Valentine-themed banner of the movie is shown. "In 32 days, let's cuddle like koala bears from hell. #deadpool," read the caption.

"Deadpool" has the honor to be the top movie choice for lovers on Valentine's Day as it is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on February 12. Though the new banners suggest that it's a romantic movie, "Deadpool" is actually a superhero movie which tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade, who agrees to become the subject of a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers. Ryan and Morena are joined by the likes of T.J. Miller, Gina Carano and Brianna Hildebrand in the cast.
