Jealousy is one of the issues that test Claire and Jamie's relationship as she's reunited with her 1940s husband Frank in the season.

AceShowbiz - Starz has debuted a featurette of "Outlander" season 2 to give another look at what's coming ahead in the new season. The sneak-peek video sees Claire and Jamie going undercover to infiltrate the Jacobite rebellion led by Prince Charles Stuart in attempt to stop the battle of Culloden.

But they don't appear to be comfortable with this situation. At one point, Claire reminds Jamie that the future of Scotland is at stake. Moreover, Claire and Jamie's relationship is tested by the presence of another man. In one scene, Jamie is seen asking Claire to choose between "him or me."

A new trailer for the second season was also released at the 2016 TCA winter press tour Friday, January 8, but it's still not available online. The video reveals that Claire will be reunited with her husband Frank (Tobias Menzies) in 1948.

This, of course, will not be easy for Claire. Actress Caitriona Balfe said, "There is that reverse thing where every time she looks at Frank, she can't help but see Black Jack. There's many layers of why that relationship is difficult when she goes back. She's definitely not the same woman that left."

As for Jamie, Sam Heughan shared his character's "definitely still affected by the trauma" of his rape at the hands of Black Jack Randall, but "it's not the primary focus of the season." He continued, "Time is a great healer, and ultimately, [Jamie] puts his whole body and soul into this mission about changing history."

He went on dishing, "And there is a great revelation that cures him, or brings him out of himself. I can't tell you what that is, but it certainly brings back the old Jamie."

Meanwhile, author Diana Gabaldon who wrote the novels which the Starz drama series is based on promised that she wouldn't be like George R. R. Martin who recently missed the deadline of his next "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel. "Unlike George, I write no matter where I am or what else I am doing," she said. Martin's novel series has been adapted into the popular HBO series "Game of Thrones".
