AceShowbiz - Sarah Palin broke silence on Dakota Meyer's recent claim that he's the biological father of Bristol Palin's second child Sailor Grace who was born last month. The former Alaska Governor told Entertainment Tonight that Dakota previously said he didn't want anything to do with the child and Bristol's pregnancy.
"For many months we have been trying to reach out to Dakota Meyer [sic] and he has wanted nothing to do with either Bristol's pregnancy or the baby," Sarah spoke to the news outlet. As of now, the baby's health is the family's priority. "Paramount to the entire Palin family is the health and welfare of Sailor Grace," she added, claiming that Dakota was just trying to "save face."
As TMZ reported earlier, the 27-year-old veteran filed legal documents in which he claimed he's the biological father of Sailor. In the legal paper, Dakota wanted a judge to award him joint legal and physical custody of the child. Surprisingly, he also asked for child support.
Bristol's rep, David Martin, weighed in on Dakota's legal filing. He said, "My values are such that a real American hero doesn't ask for child support." Bristol has never opened up about who the biological father of her daughter is. She split from Dakota before announcing her pregnancy in June last year.
