'Daredevil' Season 2 to Premiere Against 'Batman v Superman'
TV

The Marvel superhero series is reportedly set to launch on March 25, the same day DC's 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' hits U.S. theaters.

AceShowbiz - "Daredevil" season 2 is surely happening, but fans have yet to know the exact premiere date. A new report from ComicBook.com suggests that Marvel is aiming to launch the superhero series on Netflix on March 25.

If you are familiar with the date, that's because it's the date that "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released in U.S. theaters. If the rumor turns out to be true, the second season of "Daredevil" is arriving just a little bit earlier than the first season which premiered on April 10, 2015. However, neither Marvel nor Netflix has confirmed the series' release date just yet.

This is not the first "release date war" between Marvel and DC. "Dawn of Justice" was previously set for a May 6 release, but then Marvel announced that "Captain America: Civil War" would be released on the same date. DC and Warner Bros. eventually decided to bring "Dawn of Justice" forward by six weeks.

Also returning to "Daredevil" season 2 are Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson and Scott Glenn as Stick. Stephen Rider joins the cast in a regular role as Blake Tower.
