A website called Canadagraphs shared a new set image which teases a character's return in the second season of the series.

AceShowbiz - As the second season of "The Flash" will give a look at Earth-2, a fictional universe in DC comic books, some expired characters are expected to return. Canadagraphs posted a new photo from Vancouver which suggests that [SPOILER ALERT!] Robbie Amell's Ronnie Raymond will be back for the new season.

The new set photo features Amell wearing the Firestorm suit. Though in the first season Raymond died saving Central City, it seems like he is still alive as Firestorm on Earth-2. Does this mean that Amell's character will track down Earth-2's Jason Rusch? Well, it remains to be seen.

Eobard Thawne a.k.a. the Reverse-Flash is set to appear in the upcoming season, joining Bary, Cisco and the gang. "The Flash" returns January 19 at 8/7c on The CW with the first episode entitled "Potential Energy".

According to the official synopsis, "JOE AND IRIS GET TO KNOW WALLY - Now that they've grown closer, Barry (Grant Gustin) considers telling Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) that he is The Flash. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton) try to get to know Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale), and the team hunts down a meta-human who can slow time itself."
