Warner Bros. has released a new photo of the 'Harry Potter' spin-off which features Redmayne as Newt Scamander, a Magizoologist who wrote a textbook used by Harry and his friends at Hogwarts.

AceShowbiz - Warner Bros. has debuted a new image of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", giving a look at another version of J.K. Rowling's wizarding world. The photo features Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander in 1920s New York.
The magizoologist is seen rushing his way into a building while carrying an old fashioned suitcase, which may be the most important thing in his entire life. He also wields a piece of paper, which probably contains some information, but unfortunately it is so hard to read the text. Some onlookers behind Scamander set their eyes on him, while others are just busy with their own activities.

"Newt is a magizoologist who's just completed a global journey to find and document magical creatures for a book he plans on writing," producer David Heyman tells Empire. "His case is important because it contains some of the creatures he's been researching. It may be small, but there's a whole world within."
Additionally, Heyman hints at a massive production which involves a lot of extras. "On some days we've had several hundred extras, all done up in 1920s costumes. We are going into the magical world, but we're bringing the magical characters into the Muggle, or 'Nomaj', world," he explains.
According to the official synopsis, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident... were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt's fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds."
The movie also stars Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell, Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol and Jenn Murray. Directed by David Yates, the "Harry Potter" spin-off will open in the U.S. on November 18, 2016.
