The Scary Spice was the latest to confirm that a plan is brewing to have all the girls back on the road again.

AceShowbiz - For years, Spice Girls fans have been anticipating a real and big reunion but their hope was crushed every time. Melanie Brown aka Scary Spice is reigniting the hope for the girl band's 20th anniversary.

"To be serious, it is our 20th anniversary this year and it would be rude not to celebrate, so hopefully something will be happening pretty soon," she said in an interview with Alan Carr via U.K.'s Express. When pressed for details, Brown said, "I can't tell you what it is yet!"

The girls had actually gathered again to perform at the London Olympics three years ago. However, Victoria Adams aka Posh Spice had reportedly turned down further engagement with the band. "I won't ever do it again," she told Vanity Fair in 2014, "Doing the Olympics was an incredible honor. I was so proud to do it, proud to be British. That was a perfect time to say, 'That's great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.' Sometimes you've got to know when it's time to leave the party."

But the others are still hopeful. Brown was not the only one who confirmed that there were talks about 20th anniversary tour. Geri Halliwell said back in August, "It almost feels you know that [the Spice Girls] belongs to everyone, like a generation. So I think it's one of those things that's been discussed, but until it's concrete I wouldn't announce it."
