AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence paid a visit to Kosair Children's Hospital in her hometwon in Kentucky on Wednesday, December 23. The hospital took to Facebook to share some snaps of the "Joy" actress bringing joy to young patients.
"Jennifer Lawrence stopped by Kosair Children's Hospital today! Thank you for bringing many smiles to the patients before the holidays," read the caption of a photo album showing Jennifer's visit to the hospital. One snap showed Jennifer striking a pose with a patient in the background. The blonde beauty tried to remain low key in a gray T-shirt.

In its official Twitter account, the hospital retweeted some photos from Twitter users who managed to capture the moment Jennifer visiting the hospital. One snap saw the 25-year-old actress hugging a child in a pink T-shirt. Another photo showed her and staff of the hospital striking a pose together.

Some of the patients' families were clearly beaming when they learned of Jennifer's visit. They took snaps together with the actress. Jennifer also took a time to sit on a patient's bedside. The Oscar-winning actress was all smiles during her visit to the hospital.

Earlier this year, she made a surprise visit to Shriners Hospitals for Children in Montreal. She was in Montreal to film her upcoming film "X-Men: Apocalypse".
