As Ariadna has apparently been able to let go of the moment when she was mistakenly announced as the 2015 Miss Universe, she congratulates Pia on the title and thanks people for their support.

AceShowbiz - Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez has finally weighed in on the moment she became the 2015 Miss Universe for just a couple of minutes. The Colombian beauty shared with her followers on Instagram on December 22 a touching message in which she congratulated Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach for winning the Miss Universe title.
"After the storm comes the calm," Ariadna wrote alongside a picture of her putting her hands to create a heart symbol. "I want to thank each and everyone of you who have sent messages of support and strength. Every one of you has become an incredible human being in my book and I am the most fortunate and thankful for having the support not only from one country but from the whole entire world. Your destiny is written for you. And my destiny was this."
Later on, Ariadna addressed the wrong announcement at the beauty pageant. "I was able to bring happiness to my country after becoming Miss Universe for only a couple of minutes... Today because of that COLOMBIA and the LATIN COMMUNITY are being talked about in every corner of the world," she continued.
The 21-year-old beauty has apparently been able to let go of the flub and congratulated the real winner Pia from Philippines. "I also want to congratulate the Philippines for their new Miss Universe," Ariadna said, adding, "The happiness that you must be feeling must be incredible. Life continues and in the future we will find out why things happen the way they happen. Thank you all for your LOVE SUPPORT and KINDNESS."
On the previous day, Ariadna recalled the moment when she was crowned at the show. She posted on the social media pictures of her with the crown and hugging last year's Miss Universe Paulina Vega. Alongside the picture, she wrote, "This moments will always be with me #missuniverse#misscolombia #backtoback Lo logramos COLOMBIA!"
