AceShowbiz - Teresa Giudice will be home for Christmas. According to The Record newspaper of New Jersey, the former star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is going to leave the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut on Wednesday, December 23.

Teresa's attorney James Leonard Jr. said his client was excited and looking forward to coming home. James said he planned to drive the 43-year-old reality TV star home from prison. Nevertheless, he refused to reveal more specific details about her release.

The mother of four and her husband Joe Giudice pleaded guilty in March 2014 to multiple fraud charges including tax fraud, bankruptcy fraud and mail fraud. Teresa's federal prison sentence began on January 5. The "RHONJ" star was sentenced to 15 months in prison. Teresa's husband Joe, meanwhile, will start his 3.5-year prison sentence after his wife is free.

Last month, Teresa's daughters celebrated their first Thanksgiving without her. Teresa's eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, showed how the celebration without their mom looked like via some pictures she shared on Twitter. Four pictures of her posing with her dad and siblings came along with a simple-but-sweet message which read, "Hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving! Xx."
