A Philadelphia judge found the 'Chiraq' rapper guilty of probation violation on Thursday, December 17.

AceShowbiz - Meek Mill is facing a potential jail sentence in early 2016 after a Philadelphia judge found him guilty of probation violation. The judge said she wasn't sure to keep Meek on probation after he repeatedly violated the conditions of his probation for a drug and gun conviction in 2009.

Meek, born Robert Williams, testified in court on Thursday, December 17 for more than one hour with his girlfriend Nicki Minaj accompanying him. During his testimony, the rapper got emotional a few times, including once when he described how much it hurt not being able to visit her mother in NJ after she underwent surgery. He also apologized to the D.A. for calling her "b***h" in his track "The Ride".

Meek told the judge that he knew his "whole life is on the line" and tried to follow the rules. He choked up when he told the judge, "I'm not a gangsta. I'm not a criminal. I have my queen, Nicki [Minaj] now. I'm trying to do better and feel like I can be the best rapper out there."

The judge ruled Meek was in "technical violation." The "Chiraq" rapper cannot work or perform before the February 5 hearing except community service. He is also not allowed to leave 5 county area prior to the court hearing.

Earlier in the day, Meek shared on Instagram a photo of him praying.

On Wednesday, he posted a quote that read, "I remember the days I prayed for the things I have now."
