After more than five years of dating, Sheldon and Amy are finally ready to getting physical and consummating their relationship.

AceShowbiz - That moment is finally coming for Sheldon and Amy. Following [SPOILER ALERT!] their reunion in the latest episode of "The Big Bang Theory", the couple will quickly take a big step by consummating their relationship when the show returns next week.
In a sneak peek for the new episode, the show apparently addresses Sheldon's desire for getting physical with Amy by including a reference to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". Then Amy looks nervous when talking about the matter with Penny and Bernadette, but she couldn't hide her excitement for the big night. There's also a glimpse of Sheldon and Amy's awkward conversation in bed.
"The Opening Night Excitation" airs Thursday, December 17 at 8/7c on CBS. After more than five years of dating, Sheldon and Amy spend their first night together. Also, Leonard, Wolowitz and Koothrappali must decide who will take their extra "Star Wars" movie ticket.
