'Good Behavior' is a 'seductive thriller' from executive producer Chad Hodge, while crime drama 'Animal Kingdom' hails from John Wells.

AceShowbiz - Michelle Dockery has just landed a new regular TV gig after wrapping up "Downton Abbey". Onsd up her drama pilot "Good Behavior" and another project, "Animal Kingdom", to series. The network ordered 10 episodes each for the new shows' freshman run which will debut in 2016.

From executive producer Chad Hodge, "Good Behavior" is based on the Letty Dobesh books by Blake Crouch. It is described as a "seductive thriller" about Letty (Dockery), a thief and con artist whose life is always one wrong turn, one bad decision from implosion - which is just how she likes it. Fresh out of prison, Letty is attempting to stay afloat, but when she overhears a hitman being hired to kill a man's wife, she sets out to derail the job, setting her on a collision course with the killer and entangling them in a dangerous and seductive relationship.

As for "Animal Kingdom", it is inspired by the 2010 pic produced by Liz Watts and written and directed by David Michod and originally developed for Showtime in 2011. The family crime-drama stars Ellen Barkin as the matriarch of a Southern California family that is prone to indulgence and excess, funded by criminal activities. Watts, John Wells, Jonathan Lisco, Andrew Stearn and Michod will produce the show. Wells will direct the pilot with the script written by Lisco.

" 'Good Behavior' and 'Animal Kingdom' are muscular, distinct dramas that will define the new direction of TNT," said Sarah Aubrey, TNT executive vp original programming. "We believe audiences will love watching Michelle Dockery trade in her manners for the life of a sexy, complex ex-con in 'Good Behavior' and Ellen Barkin and Scott Speedman command an unruly family of criminals and adrenaline junkies in 'Animal Kingdom'."

No premiere date is set for both new series yet.
