The American band makes a triumphant return to Paris following the November 13 Paris attacks, joining Bono and bandmates for a performance of 'People Have the Power'.

AceShowbiz - Eagles of Death Metal was performing with U2 in Paris after all. After U2 denied that Eagles of Death Metal would join them in their concert on Sunday, December 6, the two groups joined forces onstage during Bono and friends' show on Monday night.

The band kicked off the show with a rendition of "The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone)". Bono said, "Tonight we are all Parisiens. Ce soir nous somme tous Parisien. If you love liberty - Paris is your hometown. Thank you for welcoming us back and allowing us to tell you a little bit about our lives at a time when your lives have been turned upside down."

He added that the band "(stood) together with the families who have lost lives here in Paris, San Bernardino, in Damascus and Beirut. We stand together with the families whose children have been taken hostage by an ideology that shows none of the mercy or compassion of the god they deem to serve."

Following Patti Smith who teamed up with Bono to perform "Gloria", Eagles of Death Metal showed up onstage. Bono introduced his fellow musicians, "These are our brothers, our fellow troubadours and they were robbed of their stage three weeks ago, and we would like to offer them ours tonight."

It marked the American band's first trip back to Paris since the November 13 attacks that killed 130 people and injured hundreds, including 89 people who died while attending the band's show at the Bataclan theater.

Eagles of Death Metal performed "People Have the Power" with U2. The band from California then closed the show with a performance of "I Love You All the Time".
