The band performed the album's lead single 'Adventure of a Lifetime' and the Gwyneth Paltrow-featured 'Everglow' during their visit to the show on Friday, December 4.

AceShowbiz - Coldplay stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on December 4 to celebrate the release of their "A Head Full of Dreams" album. In addition to sitting down with host Ellen DeGeneres for an interview, the British band sent the daytime talk show's audience into a frenzy when they performed two brand new cuts off the record.

The group first delivered an energetic performance of their current single "Adventure of a Lifetime". Frontman Chris Martin was all smiles as he jumped around the stage adorned with colorful decorations and even hugged one female audience member standing in the front row.

The quartet also slowed things down with a beautiful rendition of "Everglow", which features Martin's ex Gwyneth Paltrow on the album's version. Donning a red-and-white striped blazer over a white T-shirt, the vocalist sat at the piano while singing the ballad.

Coldplay visited DeGeneres' show just a day after they were officially announced as a headliner for the Super Bowl 50 halftime show. The group will take the stage during the big game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, February 7, 2016. They're going to launch a world tour to support their new album in March.
