The Luke Skywalker depicter disguises himself as First Order Stormtrooper to encourage fans to donate to a 'Star Wars' charity program.

AceShowbiz - Fans may haven't seen Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailers and posters, but they can see the veteran actor as a Stormtrooper. Hamill recently wandered around Hollywood Blvd. wearing a Stormtooper costume as he interacts with fans and encourages them to donate to a charity program called Force for Change.

"The last time anybody saw me in a Stormtrooper outfit was when we rescued the princess on the Death Star," Hamill says in the video as some crew members help him put on the costume. "It's your last chance to win tickets to the premiere, you get to meet the whole cast," the Luke Skywalker depicter says to some "Star Wars" fans he encounters on the street of Los Angeles.

He also meets some fans who dress up as "Star Wars" big characters such as Darth Vader, Chewbacca and Luke Skywalker. Not only telling fans to donate, but Hamill also has some good moments with fans, such as when he dances together with children.

In other news, Hamill revealed the pressure he felt to appear in the next installment of the timeless franchise. He had to go on a strict diet to prepare for his role as the Jedi. "Look at what I'm eating now instead of potato chips and bagels," he said, while showing off a plate of fruits and vegetables, "I'm on the 'if it tastes good, don't eat it' diet." Some sources suggested that he seemed "to have lost a good 50 pounds."

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" features a new generation of swashbuckling heroes and shadowy villains, as well as the return of fan-favorite smugglers, princesses and Jedi. Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson and Andy Serkis are also in the lineup. The sci-fi movie is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on December 18.
