The Iron Man depicter confirmed that Tom Holland's web-crawler would appear in the upcoming hero-agaist-hero movie.

AceShowbiz - Ever since Sony and Marvel Studios signed a license-sharing deal, which allowed the latter to put Spider-Man in some of its films, speculations about the wall-crawler appearing in "Captain America: Civil War" have been mounting. In a recent interview with EW, Robert Downey Jr. shared some details about the character while also hinting that Spidey would be introduced in the upcoming film.
"[Don] Cheadle and I are just going, 'Wow, dude, look at this,' " Downey Jr. said of Tom Holland's web-slinger. "We're now like the old guard, and our storyline carries real weight just because of our history in the [canon]. But we're also looking around like, 'Who thought that Falcon and Black Panther and Ant-Man and now Spider-Man...?' I mean it's like wow, this thing is just crazy."
Another thing suggesting that Spidey will really appear in "Civil War" is that EW spotted a man wearing familiar red-and-blue suit on the set of the movie. The man in the suit appeared to be a stunt double for Holland's Spider-Man. However, producer Kevin Feig declined to comment on the character. "Listen, if there was a cosplayer running around that set when you were there, I don't know what to tell you," Feige said.
In the same interview, the producer also talked about Martin Freeman's mystery role, whose name hasn't been unveiled. "He's under the cloak of secrecy," Feige said. "There are a lot of amazing actors in this movie. Some of them play larger roles than others. And in some cases there are some you will meet ever so briefly in this film and then will be expanded upon in future films. He falls into that latter category."
Also involved in the interview, Scarlett Johansson revealed details about her character, saying that Black Widow was not aspired to become an Avenger. She then continued explaining that her character would be the "mediator" between the Cap and Iron Man. "You know, I think she understands where everyone is coming from. And none of it really matters to her, you know?" she said. "There's a bigger problem at hand and she's, I think, strangely, kind of the mediator. Which is not exactly how you would imagine her to be. But I think she really does see both sides of the coin and I think her strength is that she's not personally involved."
Additionally, the site released some official stills of the movie. Three of the photos are pretty interesting because there are more than one superheroes in the frames. One of the photos sees the Cap (chris Evans) using his superpower to hold onto the edge of a building to prevent a helicopter from escaping. There is also an image of Black Widow in an international intelligence operations center along with Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp), Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and the Cap.
In another photo, the Cap is on the run with Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman). "I love our scenes together because I do think they feel a sense of responsibility. I think they're both very selfless people," Evans said of his character and Black Panther.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, "Civil War" will be released in North America on May 6, 2016.
