The 'Scandal' actress is reportedly going to file for divorce from the former football athlete Nnamdi in the new year.

AceShowbiz - While they are relatively quiet about their personal life and relationship, Kerry Washington is reportedly planning to divorce her husband Nnamdi Asomugha. Life & Style magazine reported that the "Scandal" actress and her husband "pretty much separated" since weeks ago.
The news outlet claimed that the 38-year-old actress would be "filing [for divorce] in the new year." Of what caused the separation, the magazine said that it was because her husband allegedly had nothing to do since being cut from the San Francisco 49ers in October 2013. He also reportedly didn't bother to find a new job. Kerry allegedly became frustrated due to such situation. She has to work grueling hours on the set of "Scandal".
Later on, the news outlet quoted a so-called "source" as saying that Nnamdi "resents his wife and believes Karry is the one who's given up on their marriage." The source went on saying that both Kerry and Nnamdi weren't on speaking terms. "Things have gotten so bad, [they're] barely speaking anymore," said the source. Furthermore, the magazine alleged that the couple, who are parents to 1-year-old daughter Isabelle, also failed couples therapy.
Responding to the report, a source close to Kerry told Gossip Cop that it's "not true." She neither has any plan to divorce the former football athlete nor tried any couples therapy.
