The 19-year-old male fan claimed in his notes that he had 'spiritual connection' with the 30-year-old singer.

AceShowbiz - Lana Del Rey just got a case of extreme fan. A man was arrested after camping out in the garage of the singer's Malibu, California residence on Monday, November 30.

A Malibu/Lost Hills detective told ET that the man set up living quarters in the garage area of the home which was under construction. A construction worker found the man and reported him to the police. The "Summertime Sadness" crooner was neither confronted, harmed or threatened by the man but "based on ramblings in his notes, he was clearly infatuated with Lana."

The man, identified as a 19-year-old white male named Zachary Self, was gone by the time police arrived. Several notes and a laptop computer that he left behind recorded how he thought he had a "spiritual connection" with Del Rey.

The man, who came from Kansas, was eventually spotted at a Starbucks in Santa Monica on Tuesday and immediately arrested. While charges are pending, he was booked for felony burglary allegedly because he made off with one of her books. He was held on $150,000 bail.

Del Rey, who was not home at the time of the incident, plans to move to the $3 million beachfront property to escape overzealous fans. She previously stayed in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles where fans would camp out on her street.
