Not long after revealing his addiction to plastic surgery in a blog, the 27-year-old actor revealed his sexual orientation in a tweet.

AceShowbiz - Reid Ewing perhaps had the most subtle way to come out as gay. The "Modern Family" star revealed his sexual orientation when commenting on an article about his confession of body dysmorphia.
"Saw Eugene Bata on @GMA in the Body Dysmorphia segment connected to my article and I just want to say he is hot af," Ewing tweeted over the weekend prompting a fan to ask, "@media_reid Did you also just out yourself?" The 27-year-old replied, "@MichaelJMapes I was never in."
Twitter soon went ablaze with comments and supports for Ewing. "Writes a cosmetic surgery article, people care more that I'm gay..," he wrote along a picture of Bea Arthur on "Golden Girls" wearing unimpressed look. And in case people did not read his confession right, Ewing added a meme of Marilyn Monroe with the caption, "When you're told there is another gay coming to the party."
Ewing recently confessed about his addiction to plastic surgery in a Huffington Post blog. "I genuinely believed if I had one procedure I would suddenly look like Brad Pitt ...For the next couple of years, I would get several more procedures with two other doctors. Each procedure would cause a new problem that I would have to fix with another procedure," he wrote.
Ewing plays Haley's ex-boyfriend Dylan on "Modern Family".
