The foursome played 'Drag Me Down' and 'Love You Goodbye' during the show and briefly chatted with host Ellen DeGeneres about Zayn Malik's departure.

AceShowbiz - One Direction played a mini-concert during the Wednesday, November 18 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". To support their new album "Made in the A.M.", which they dropped last week, the boys performed two new cuts from it including its lead single, "Drag Me Down".

Taking the outdoor stage, the foursome led a massive sing-along to the hit, which peaked at No. 3 on Billboard Hot 100. The lads also sang "Love You Goodbye" for hundreds of screaming Directioners in the audience.

"Made in the A.M." marks One Direction's fifth studio effort, first without former bandmate Zayn Malik and last before they take a lengthy break starting next year. The record has been projected to start at No. 2 on next week's Billboard 200, trailing behind Justin Bieber's "Purpose".

In addition to performing, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson sat down with host Ellen DeGeneres to briefly talk about Zayn's departure from the group. They also participated in the "Never Have I Ever" game, during which Harry revealed that he'd ever hooked up with a fan.
