Hawkman and Hawkgirl who are handcuffed are sandwiched between Arrow and The Flash who are facing a common enemy, Vandal Savage, in the upcoming crossover event.

AceShowbiz - The CW continues teasing viewers with a new photo from the upcoming "Arrow" / "The Flash" crossover event. Still featuring the two familiar heroes and new faces Hawkman a.k.a. Carter Hall (Falk Hentschel) and Hawkgirl a.k.a. Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee), the latest image raises a question.

In the said picture, Hawkman and Hawkgirl are chained up while standing between Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin). It's unclear what they're up to or if Hawkman and Hawkgirl in chains has something to do with their plan to take down Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).

The crossover event is split into two parts. In the first part, "The Flash" episode titled "Legends of Today", Vandal Savage arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders. After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco, they turn to Barry for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings AKA Hawkman shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) to test it out. It airs Tuesday, December 1 at 8/7c on The CW.

The second part, "Arrow" episode titled "Legends of Yesterday", airs Wednesday, December 2 at 8/7c on the same network. Oliver and Barry Allen take Kendra Saunders and Carter Hall to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage while they figure out how to defeat him. Malcolm arranges a meeting between Vandal, Green Arrow and The Flash that doesn't go as planned. Meanwhile, Felicity, Thea, Diggle and Laurel work with Team Flash to come up with a weapon powerful enough to destroy Vandal Savage.

Stars Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin recently gushed about the upcoming crossover. The former called it "the pinnacle achievement for both shows," while the latter claimed, "It feels even bigger." His co-star Danielle Panabaker added, "It's crazier. It's nuts, but it's great."
