One Direction Holds Moment of Silence at Concert for Paris Attack Victims

Before starting their set, the boys asked the audience at their special concert on Saturday, November 14 to join them in a one-minute silence.

AceShowbiz - The One Direction boys were absolutely heartbroken by the terrorist attacks in Paris that claimed the lives of more than 100 people on Friday, November 13. To honor the victims of the horrible tragedy, they offered a moment of silence during their "London Session" show on the next day.

The intimate one-off gig was held in association with Apple Music. Before starting their set, the four-piece asked the audience made up of very lucky fans from around the world to join them in a one-minute silence.

Prior to the concert, the band already paid tribute to the victims via Twitter. "We would like to send our thoughts and condolences to those who have been affected by the heartbreaking tragedy in Paris this weekend," read one tweet they sent out right after the incidents, which occured on the same day they released their fifth studio album, "Made in the A.M.".

The boys also took to their respective Twitter account to express concern over the attacks. "Thoughts and prayers for those people involved in the situation that has occurred in Paris this evening .. Very sad," wrote Niall Horan. "The world just lost peace its a scary place and it's hard to take I really hope everybody is ok pray for France," Liam Payne added.
