AceShowbiz - Tom Holland proves that he's the right actor to play the new version of Spider-Man in the untitled new Spider-Man movie. The 19-year-old actor took to Instagram to show off his acrobatic skills that might help him portray the web-slinger.
The 15-second video shows Holland turning into a somersault, jumping and hand standing. Possessing those skills, Holland doesn't seem to need a stuntman or special effect to perform all of the actions Spider-Man may do.
Based on the caption Holland wrote, he tried out some equipment such as an Airtrack mat at the gym. "I can't wait to have a play. It was so good to be back in the gym so thank you thank you thank you for getting me started again!" Holland expressed his excitement of playing the wall-crawler.
Earlier this year, Holland also posted some videos on Instagram which showed his skills, but it was before he got the coveted role. Those videos might be another factor that helped Holland win the role.
The upcoming Spidey reboot will center on Peter Parker in his high school years when he has already been bitten by the radioactive spider. Directed by Jon Watts, the reboot is due to open in the U.S. on July 28, 2017.
